  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar adjust to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the hibiscus flowers and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the flowers.
  5. 5. Add the remaining 4 cups of water and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. 6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving. Serve over ice.
