  • 1 loaf French bread cut into 1-inch slices
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Arrange the bread slices in the baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread slices, making sure all pieces are well-coated.
  6. Let the bread soak for at least 10 minutes, or cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
