Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the ground beef and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, meat sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with dried oregano and basil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
