Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ziti pasta
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce 24 oz
  • 2 cups Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer half of the ziti mixture, then half of the remaining meat sauce. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
