Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Codfish cut into chunks
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 400 g Tomatoes diced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 500 ml Fish Stock
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 2 Bay Leaves

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and paprika. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in fish stock and add bay leaves. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add codfish chunks. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  7. Remove bay leaves before serving.
