- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup beer
- 1 lb white fish fillets cut into pieces
- as needed vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the beer, whisking until smooth.
Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Dip the fish pieces into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
Carefully place the fish into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the fish with tongs and drain on paper towels.
