  • 1 lb white fish fillets cut into pieces

  2. Gradually add the beer, whisking until smooth.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Dip the fish pieces into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Carefully place the fish into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the fish with tongs and drain on paper towels.
