Main Ingredients
- 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Bread Crumbs
- ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
1. In a food processor, mash the black beans until thick and pasty.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the mashed black beans, bread crumbs, onion, egg, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until heated through and slightly crispy on the outside.
