Ingredients

  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, mash the black beans until thick and pasty.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, mix the mashed black beans, bread crumbs, onion, egg, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until heated through and slightly crispy on the outside.
