- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
Stir in the buttermilk, flour, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until the pie is set and lightly browned on top.
Let the pie cool completely before serving.
