Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 6 slices Bacon, chopped
- 4 cups Water
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Pinto beans, cooked
- 1 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoon Lime juice
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
1. In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the beef slices and cook until browned.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pinto beans, cilantro, onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
6. Serve hot, garnished with the crispy bacon.
