Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 cups clam juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cans clams drained and chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional fresh parsley chopped

Instructions 

  1. Cook bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
  2. Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
  3. Add potatoes, clam juice, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and clams. Cook until heated through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with bacon and parsley if desired.
