- 4 cups milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle boil.

3. Add sugar and salt, and continue to cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens.
