Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Pork
- 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1. In a large pot, combine ground pork, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the pork is no longer pink.
2. Add milk, salt, pepper, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 2 hours or until the mixture is thickened and the liquid is mostly evaporated.
4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Transfer the mixture to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
5. Transfer the cretons to a container and refrigerate until firm. Serve chilled.
