Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thickness.
  5. Use a doughnut cutter to cut out doughnut shapes.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the doughnuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
