Eggnog Recipe
A classic holiday drink, rich and creamy with a hint of nutmeg.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Milk
- 5 Eggs separated
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
In a saucepan, heat milk until hot but not boiling.
In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale.
Slowly add hot milk to egg mixture, whisking constantly.
Return mixture to saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in cream, vanilla, and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into the eggnog mixture.
Chill before serving. Sprinkle with extra nutmeg if desired.
