- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish and place the cubed French bread in it.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are well-coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
