  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries and ½ cup of sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
  4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Spoon the cherry mixture over the batter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
