Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Red Wine 750ml
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 Orange sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
  2. 2. Cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice into the simmering water. Push the cloves into the orange peel and place in the saucepan.
  3. 3. Continue simmering for 30 minutes, until thick and syrupy.
  4. 4. Pour in the wine and heat until steaming but not boiling. Serve hot.
