Gooey Butter Cake
A rich and gooey butter cake that's a classic treat.

Cake Base
- 1 box Yellow cake mix
- 1 stick Butter, melted
- 1 Egg
Topping
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 16 oz Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix well and press into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. The center should still be a bit gooey.
Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
