Honduran Baleadas Recipe
Baleadas are a traditional Honduran dish made with flour tortillas, refried beans, cheese, and other fillings.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- ¾ cup Warm water
- 1 cup Refried beans
- ½ cup Crumbled cheese
- ¼ cup Sour cream
- 1 Avocado (optional) sliced
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add vegetable oil and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
On a floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes per side, until lightly browned.
Spread refried beans on each tortilla, then top with cheese, sour cream, and avocado slices if using.
Fold the tortillas in half and serve warm.
