Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dill Weed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for a minute.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add milk, paprika, dill, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream and lemon juice. Heat through but do not boil.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
