Inside Out Grilled Cheese Sandwich

A twist on the classic grilled cheese, with crispy cheese on the outside and gooey cheese on the inside.

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread Preferably sourdough or white
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Softened

Instructions 

  1. 1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. 2. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the skillet. Add a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
  4. 4. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up. Sprinkle a small amount of cheese on the top slice.
  5. 5. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until golden and crispy.
  6. 6. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and serve.
