Ingredients

  • 1 box White cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 package Jell-O any flavor
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 1 container Whipped topping thawed

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Prepare and bake the cake mix as directed on the box for a 9x13 inch pan.
  3. 3. Allow the cake to cool for 15 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix the Jell-O with boiling water until dissolved, then stir in the cold water.
  5. 5. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes.
  6. 6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
  7. 7. Spread the whipped topping over the cake before serving.
