Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter plus extra for greasing
  • 4 oz Bittersweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease 4 ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thickened and pale.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then fold in the flour until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  7. Let the cakes cool in the ramekins for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and serve immediately.
