Marinated Chicken Pita Sandwich Recipe

Marinade
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
Chicken
- 500 g Chicken Breast boneless, skinless, cut into strips
Pita Sandwich
- 4 pieces Pita Bread
- 1 cup Lettuce shredded
- 1 cup Tomatoes diced
- 0.5 cup Red Onion thinly sliced
- 0.5 cup Tzatziki Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Add the chicken strips to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
Warm the pita bread in a pan or oven.
Assemble the sandwiches by placing grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onions inside the pita bread. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
