Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mochiko (sweet rice flour)
  • ¾ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Cornstarch (for dusting)

Instructions 

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix mochiko and water until smooth.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir the mixture with a spatula, then microwave for another 1-2 minutes until the dough is translucent.
  4. Dust a surface with cornstarch and transfer the dough onto it. Let it cool slightly.
  5. Cut the dough into pieces and shape as desired. Dust with more cornstarch to prevent sticking.
