Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon diced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 2 cups Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Clam Juice
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 cans Clams with juice
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
  2. Add onion and celery to the pot and cook until softened.
  3. Add potatoes and clam juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and clams with their juice. Heat through but do not boil.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with cooked bacon before serving.
