Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place half of the bread cubes in the dish and top with blueberries. Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove the dish from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Serve warm.
