  • 1 pint Oysters
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. 3. Pour in the whole milk and heavy cream, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Add the oysters and their liquor, and cook until the edges of the oysters curl.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve hot with crusty bread.
