Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Ditalini pasta
  • 1 can Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the ditalini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Stir in the cannellini beans, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
