Main Ingredients
- 5 lbs Beef brisket trimmed
- ½ cup Kosher salt
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon Black pepper coarsely ground
- 2 tablespoon Coriander seeds crushed
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
1. Mix all the spices together in a bowl.
2. Rub the spice mix all over the brisket.
3. Wrap the brisket in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
4. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
5. Smoke the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C), about 4 hours.
6. Let the pastrami rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
