- 1 unit Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
- 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 3 units Eggs large
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg optional
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Spread the cooked bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
