Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Duck about 5-6 pounds
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme chopped
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rinse the duck and pat it dry with paper towels.
Rub the duck with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme.
Place the duck in a roasting pan, breast side up.
Roast the duck for about 2 hours, basting occasionally with the pan juices.
Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. It should read 165°F (74°C).
Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
