Main Ingredients
- 4 lbs Pork shoulder
- 1 cup Barbecue sauce
- 1 large Onion chopped
- ½ cup Apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Chili powder
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder.
4. Add the chopped onion on top.
5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
6. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
7. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
8. Serve on buns or as desired.
