Strawberry Pretzel Salad
A delicious and refreshing dessert with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and a strawberry topping.

Crust
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Filling
- 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 container whipped topping (8 oz)
Topping
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 package strawberry gelatin mix (6 oz)
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate until set.
In a bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in sliced strawberries. Let it cool to room temperature.
Pour strawberry mixture over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
