Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 3 Bell peppers (any color), chopped
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 6 cups Beef broth
  • 2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, cooked rice, basil, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat and let the soup simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
