Traditional Gyro Meat Recipe

Gyro Meat
- 1 lb Ground Lamb
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a food processor, combine the onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until finely chopped.
In a large bowl, mix the ground lamb and beef with the onion mixture until well combined.
Press the meat mixture into a loaf pan or shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
