Main Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 can Kidney Beans (15 oz, drained and rinsed)
- 1 can Pinto Beans (15 oz, drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 1 cup Celery chopped
- 1 cup Green Bell Pepper chopped
- 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Water
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion, celery, and green bell pepper to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, pinto beans, water, and all the spices. Mix well.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
