  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 Eggs

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally, stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour or spoon the batter into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.
