Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- ⅓ cup Warm milk
- 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Pearl sugar
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla extract, and yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
Gradually add the melted butter, mixing until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Gently fold in the pearl sugar. Preheat your waffle iron.
Scoop about ¼ cup of dough onto the preheated waffle iron. Cook until golden brown and caramelized, about 3-5 minutes per waffle.
Serve warm and enjoy!
