Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork Chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Instructions 

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, basting the pork chops with the melted butter.
  5. Check the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer. It should read 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
