Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder sliced thin
  • 4 Baguettes split lengthwise
  • 1 cup Pickled carrots and daikon
  • ½ cup Cilantro fresh
  • 1 Cucumber sliced thin
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Add pork slices and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Place marinated pork on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until fully cooked.
  4. While pork is roasting, prepare the baguettes by spreading mayonnaise on each half.
  5. Once pork is done, assemble the banh mi by layering roasted pork, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber slices, and cilantro in the baguettes.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
