Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups kale chopped
  • 3 cups potatoes diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
  3. 3. Add the chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Add the cooked sausage, kale, and heavy cream. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
